THE HISTORY:
Nakajima-san, the creator told me he made these machines because he loved Gachapon so much, that he wanted a 24 hour solution for adults. Normal gachapon machines are made of plastic and lack security so they are taken off the streets and locked away when the store closes.
With his vending machine, he can play it any time!
Basically he converted old book vending machine and turned them into package dispensing ones. He redesigned the buttons and racks inside, made them more stylish and easier to work. In the end, he made a bigger, 24-hour gachapon machine for adults.
