Have you been to Japan recently and visited a location that was featured on the show" Send me a photo and a little story about it.
I also feautre a famous statue of a samuraio walking his dog located in Ueno Park. His name is Saigo Takamori and he was featured int he Tom Cruise movie THE LAST SAMURAI.
Saigo Takamori fought bravely against the Meiji Government at the Battle of Shiroyama in 1871 but was killed by artillery from an inexperienced army. The samurai armed with only swords won
