Telecom Center Odaiba
????????
Telecom Center, in Odaiba, Tokyo, is the headquarters of Tokyo Metropolitan Television (Tokyo MX). The glass and steel building was completed in 1995 and comprises 21 floors above ground with a further three basement floors. The two towers are connected at basement level, on the 5th floor and again on the 20th and 21st floors. As well as office space, Telecom Center has a number of restaurants (Chinese, Italian, American), cafes, a convenience store, a post office, a pharmacy, a dentist's surgery and health clinic. An event space can be rented out for parties and business functions.
On the 21st floor, 99m above ground is an observatory (admission for adults 500 yen, elementary and junior high 300 yen) with 270° views of Tokyo including Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Gate Bridge, Fuji TV HQ, Aomi Container Port, the Palette Town Ferris Wheel, Tokyo Sky Tree, and Rainbow Bridge. The stunning views are particularly impressive after dark.
The atrium between the two towers is used as a venue for occasional open-air musical concerts and other live events.
