Second World War itinerary
This itinerary takes in a number of major sites with connections to the events of World War Two; Tokyo, which was the site of the heaviest firebombing, Hiroshima and Nagasaki, victims of the only atomic bombs ever used in war, and on to Okinawa, the only part of Japan invaded by Allied troops. The basic itinerary is 12 days, with suggested extra excursions that you can add on as you please, and assumes arrival and departure from Narita Airport in Tokyo.
