Nikon 35mm f/1.8 DX Lens Example Photos (or, 40+ Random Photos From Japan)
A showcase of photos from Hakone, Kyoto, Osaka and more, taken with the Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G lens…
Before my autumn 2013 traveling in Japan, I purchased my first DSLR camera – the Nikon D5200. One of the first things I did when arriving in Osaka at the start of my travels was to visit Yodobashi Camera near Umeda & Osaka Stations. Here I purchased the Nikon 35mm f/1.8 AF-S DX lens (along with 3 spare camera batteries and a tripod), which is the first non-kit lens I’ve owned.
The Nikon 35mm f/1.8 DX lens is a quality lens. It’s quite cheap, but well made, has great depth of field and bokeh potential, and performs well in low-light environments. The AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G is always in my travel bag, along with one wide-angle and one zoom lens. This page features over 40 random demo photos taken with the Nikon 35mm f/1.8 AF-S DX lens. All photos below show EXIF data (focal length, aperture, exposure and ISO).
