Hi Bumblebeemum
Thank you for sharing your driving experience. Will take note of your driving tips and warning to go SLOW at 50km/hr. Do we really have to double the time for winter drive, eg Sapporo ? Ashikawa which google distance stated 151km 2hr10m, does it mean we will takes 4hrs"
You mentioned Hakodate is a boring drive compare to Eastern, do you mean is less scenic"
I am toying on the idea of flying or shinkansen into Hakodate from Tokyo and starts the trip from Hakodate follow by train to Sapporo, skipping Noboribetsu. Will rent the car from Sapporo and continue the journey to the East and back to Sapporo. Not sure how hassle it is to catch the train from Tokyo airport to Hakodate, do you think is ideal to fly or train from Tokyo to Hakodate, in terms of cost and time savings, is it worth" Can you also advise, if we were to fly into Tokyo on SQ, should we arrive in Narita or Haneda" In your opinion, how is Jetstar compare to ANA for domestic" Thank you for suggesting the loop and highlighting what we may miss. May I know what exactly is the penguin parade about" What are the dates for the penguin parade" Forgot to add in my earlier post that we definitely would not want to miss snow tubing and ice slide at Tomamu even though we are not a fan of skilling. Do you know when the season starts for the snow fun activities (tube/slide) in Tomamu" Any link to check on this"
Is there anyway that we can get to visit Unkai Terrace ...
